Artificial Floral Arrangement DIY

Early this spring, I created these artificial floral arrangements for my photography studio, The Studio on Sampson. I wanted a spring setup that photographers could host spring mini sessions with or people could get really cute content filmed with the florals in the background.

How to Make a Fake Flower Arrangement: The Guide’s Origin Story

I posted on my TikTok about how well these had turned out just for fun (because TBH, I kinda impressed myself). I’d spent around $200 and I was super surprised by the quality of the artificial flowers I had bought. These arrangements pretty much looked real. The video I had made kind of blew up. Everyone was asking for all the details. The people demanded a tutorial. And thus, the fake flower arrangement guide was set into motion.

The DIY Fake Flower Arrangement Guide

I wanted to be really thorough about how I put this all together so I could help people put together these really high quality arrangements. It is PERFECT for photography studios or even weddings. So, I created a guide! I really thought it all out. I put together a list of links to everything I used, all the helpful info, and even filmed a 15 minute in-depth tutorial. The guide has it all, the how to and my best tips and tricks.

There is also a quick shortened tutorial on my TikTok. It was important to me to also include free resources! This guide turned out so well and has helped people all over the WORLD DIY fake flower arrangements. Australia, Poland, China, Canada, all over the U.S and beyond. It really has blown me away.

Photography Studio Artificial Floral Arrangement DIY

I have gotten SO much amazing feedback on the florals AND the guide. I loved that I was able to spark so much creativity within others all over! I am really happy to have created this resource for a low cost to hopefully save people some money. Especially for photographers or even brides! Fresh florals are SO beautiful and I love them so much (I’ve even been growing a cut flower garden with my daughter!), but the don’t tend to last very long by nature. Especially for photos, fresh bouquets aren’t always the most effective option. It is really nice to have arrangements that don’t go bad and can be reused or repurposed. They can even be given to guests as gifts. My goal with this was to help people DIY real looking flowers for a fraction of the cost.

It has been so amazing to see other photographers using the guide! They each make it their own style and it is so cool gto see how they turn out! A fellow photographer created these purple ones for her studio!!
