Savanna’s Senior Photos

This is one of my favorite sessions as a senior photos photographer. The neutral tones, edgy outfits, the dead fall field, the shoes, the downtown arches…UGH. I love it so much.

And of course, Savanna is basically a supermodel so she made it easy.

Savanna’s mom gave her a few options of senior photo photographers to choose from and Savanna ended up really liking my style and I was beyond honored that she chose me. (p.s. you can totally check out the latest everything on IG!)

We LOVE a Fun Shoe - Senior Photos Photographer

Savanna showed UP with her outfits. Her style is so edgy and cool and she had the fun shoes. OH, the fun shoes. Docs AND Converse. Fun shoes bring a certain edge to a shoot that nothing else really can.

We started out exploring a downtown location, basking in the nooks and the arched windows. The little all-white nook paired so well with her style and really lets her pop.

We spent a hot min at the river—this location ended up giving us a little wind, which meant we got to play with the wind in her hair the tiniest bit which is just gorgeous.

Then, I brought Savanna (plus one of the stools from my studio) to one of my favorite field locations. It was preeeeeeettttttyyyyyy dead from the fall. It gave us this neutral backdrop with all the moody fall vibes.

Her outfit for this location was dark and edgy and the Docs really sealed the deal for me. Because, again, we love a fun shoe. Docs, Converse, Vans, boots with the fur, it doesn’t matter. I’m in. My creative juices are in.

Central Illinois Senior Photos Photographer

Fall is totally senior season and I always end up pretty much being booked out in advance. If you or your high schooler are graduating in this upcoming year, have your mom call my mom (just kidding, please fill out my inquiry form LOL). I love capturing seniors and bringing something unique to each session so that your senior photos aren’t the same stiff, personality-devoid snapshots that everyone else will have.
