The Jill Barclay Group’s Realtor Team Photos

Jill has a team full of lovely, caring, capable people ready to serve the Central Illinois area. The Jill Barclay Group came to me for fresh team photos. I love getting to take realtor team photos, so I was pumped.

Jill got us access to shoot in the (bright and gorgeous) kitchen of a Peoria Heights condo. We wanted to get some outdoor shots too, and I spotted this totally on-brand black and white condo down the street when I was location scouting. I caught the owner on the way out for a walk to ask for permission to shoot in the front porch!

He said yes!! We were so thankful because it was the perfect location for this branding session.

I have become unafraid to ask permission to shoot at private locations—it always leads to something good. Getting to shoot at the perfect location, pride for trying, or in this case, another shoot on the books. I got a message from his wife later, who wanted to talk about setting up a branding session for herself!

All the little ways people find me never ceases to amaze me. It makes me truly happy to get to give this kind of service to people every day.

Team Photo Tips

What your team wears to the shoot makes a big difference.

Here, for example, the team mostly wore black—but they don’t look like once big blobby mass of black. They have texture and balance. A necklace here, sheer sleeves there, throw a blazer in the mix and bam, we have a cohesive team photo that not only showcases the smiling team, but the subtle individualities that make up the whole.

Get access to homes or venues to shoot that communicate what you want to give to your buyers.

We can always get amazing headshots in the studio. Having permission to take photos in front of or in a home like the ones you sell will immediately tell anyone who comes into contact with your photo what you can give to them and how much they can trust you to do it.

We want to create variety, but we also want to be cohesive and consistent.

Making all of the little details align with your brand identity and brand colors goes a long way. We had the team throw in a few neutral pieces to compliment their all black outfits gave us variety but stayed true to the brand. Finding that front porch that was on brand, the kitchen, the chairs and benches I brought along, the sold sign, all were touches that gave us something new to look at but stayed cohesive with the brand.

Invest in a Branding Photographer for Realtor Team Photos

Every once in a while I get a client that has invested in brand/team photos with another photographer and weren’t blown away with the results.

I can not stress enough going with a photographer that specializes in branding photos. The difference can be minimal in actuality but feels like a completely different experience.

If you decide to choose the option because it is the cheapest option, you may find that the investment wasn’t worth quite as much as you were hoping. When you go all in and make the big, scary investment, you will feel the impact. Doing it right the first time will most definitely pay off in the long run.

I am the kind of photographer that is going to adjust your posing if it looks awkward or fix your hair (Jill and her team told me over and over how they appreciated and could trust that I would fix the hair that’s sticking out). The little details make a difference, especially with branding photos.

Central Illinois Realtor Photographer

Strong brand photos can be beyond powerful for realtors.

I just love getting to work with people in the realty space. The impact our photos make is almost instantaneous. Credibility and trust is everything to someone looking to buy their home. Having photos that are not only professional and high quality, but that you can feel creates instant credibility.

It’s helping to guide that next buyer to you and what you genuinely have to offer to them. Give them that quick, easy route to you.

Realtor Team Photos in Action!

Jill and her team have been making the most of their brand photos for social media graphics, their website, and I’m sure so much more beyond that. They have done an amazing job at incorporating the photos.

I can’t wait to see the impact of these photos continue to grow for them!
